Final decision

Just finished my last conference call about posting the short stories and it's a negative. It's bad when you give something for free and someone still steals it. It's always one that messes it up for all. So on their behalf, i apologize. The good news is I'll have more time to edit and give everyone something that's a little out of my norm of writing but I feel in times like this, this type of project is needed. If you haven't already check out Through the Darkness ~ Stories of Hope

Update

Okay, before I had a chance to post PART 22 I got a phone call telling me to hold off on all parts on all stories. Well, it seems that there's people that enjoy my stories enough that they are using them as their own (not cool). Well, when you're hot, you're hot. We're pausing post until we come to a conclusion on what needs to be done.

Part 21

Part 21

Four broken necks, six killed by arrows, which means I have three left. These three aren't looking for their buddies, I don't even think they know they're gone. I reached the girls, looked Rhonda in her eyes, and asked her for the passwords. This way I'll know if she's lying to me. If she can say the passwords with a straight face, she set me up. Tears filled her eyes but she never stopped looking at me, then she speaks,

"I'm sorry, I love you, and didn't mean to hurt you." Rhonda said with tears flowing.

It wasn't the passwords but if she can lie to me to my face, then I deserve to die by her hands; because my soul would be dead already if I found out the tears were a lie. I asked her about the other three and she told me they're still on our side, but Cal is the questionable one. I cut the four women down and Reonna took out the last three hostiles. Elsey came over to tell me she still thinks Rhonda deserves a better husband but gave me the biggest hug I’ve ever been blessed with. Rhonda allowed everyone to hug me and tell me thank you before she came over to grace me with a hug and her lovely kisses all over my face. I didn’t get one on the lips since she hasn’t been able to brush her teeth in days, thank God for small favors. I told them about the cave and us setting out in the morning to head back to the car so we can find a motel where we can clean up and get some sleep on a soft bed. Maybe we should look for a hotel instead of a motel if we're looking for the best mattress.

Our walk back was filled with information. Steffanie told me how Cal turned a few months before they came to team up with us, but figured since he wasn’t the only man in the group it would make things easier on him. She overheard him talking to the guy at the airstrip telling him that there’s a lot of money on the airplane and that they can have all the cash out of my bag but he needs the file. They agreed to kidnap us, but I couldn't do anything because we were out numbered and out gunned. Cal stated he was going to go with you, and the men that stayed back was going to kill you for your bag.

I explained that Cal is the one that woke me up when the guys were coming through the woods, if he truly wanted me dead he could have let me take one to the head and take the file. Then I ran everything pass them again because there was still a missing piece, so either they're lying or I’m missing something.

“Cal said the Unicorn File was on the plane, you guys don’t have it?” I mentioned to see what they were going to do.

“No, we thought you have it.” Steffanie said.

“Cal must have it.” Elsey said.

“Cal is dead, the guys shot him in the head while I was running with him over my shoulder. He didn’t have anything on him.” I explained

“Well, no love lost if you ask me, we can take over the agency without it. With our knowledge and power, that file was just a bonus to make things happen faster.” Steffanie said in high spirits.

Part 20

Part 20

That night I was off and on my way to Coahuila Mexico. It took seventeen hours to get there driving, seventeen hours with only making gas stops. Thank God for making me a man. Flying wasn't an option, thanks to what's in my possession, and that bounty on my head. Anyway, then I had to walk for three hours. There's not many roads out here, and they sure as hell don't lead you where someone is possibly being held captive. I had 23 hours of nonstop movement to think about the different scenarios. All I know is, that I'm not dying alone. I'm taking at least two with me, the only one I truly worry about is Steffanie. She knows everything about me, but it's never too late to change your plan. Unless you're in the thick of things, then it's too late. Come up with a plan and stick with it, there's never a plan B.

My heart is racing, I'm looking around trying to find shadows or moving land. I can't be too sure that there's not someone out there gunning for me. I reached a cave that hasn't been used in years, or ever by the looks of it. I made myself a makeshift broom and got up as much dirt and bugs as I could. Gathered enough branches, with leaves attached to make a semi-soft palette. Tonight I'll sleep and rejuvenate my body and set out at sunrise so I can retrieve my wife, or lose my life.

Odd enough, I slept peacefully under the circumstances. If I'm being setup, I want them to work for the Unicorn File. So, I placed the file behind heavy rocks that I knew for sure a woman can't lift. The only thing I took with me is ammo and four guns. When I got out into the open, I knew that by now if they made a fire it'll be going out, therefore there will be smoke. I climbed to the top of the mountain of where I slept and was able to see smoke coming from the west. I made another bow and cut up some branches for ammo.

The hike was long and put a beating on my feet, I could feel them blistering even with moleskin and two pairs of thick socks. By the time I reached the boundary of where Rhonda was being held, I noticed something that made my heart sink to the pit of my stomach. Hanging from a tree was three people, skinned, but clearly not moving. As the bodies swung around due to the small gust of wind, I was able to see that it was men, not women. I climbed a tree so I can see the entire camping area. There’s thirteen men; Rhonda, Steffanie, Elsey, and Reonna were all tied up to a tree that was on the opposite side of the campsite. I don’t deem the men as being a threat to me but if I don’t move fast enough, they’ll be a threat to the women for sure. No one seems to be designated to watch the women, if I can get Rhonda free I'll have an extra set of eyes to help me knocked these guys off one at a time.

I go around the campsite, making sure I watch my step to insure they don’t see or hear me. I don’t believe these guys are assassins so I could easily talk to them to get them to comply, but where’s the fun in that. The first guy I reach was standing towards a tree taking a piss. I grabbed his jaw and broke his neck without any type of fight. I looked into his face and saw the old man from the airstrip in Shubuta in him, just a younger dirtier version. I gave him $10,000.00 for fuel a plane, not a big huge commercial plane but a private plane that twenty people can fit comfortably; the $10,000.00 wasn’t enough. He wanted more and kidnapped the women, but Cal’s story isn't adding up to how this seems to be playing out. If I feel that they're lying, I’ll kill them all.

Part 19

Part 19

I knew for sure the guy Matt wasn’t an assassin, but Ryan is questionable. What I do know, is that both of these guys either took a life or about to take one by the contents in their cart. I feel bad for the poor sucker that run across these two, I quickly grabbed a few things and went on about my way. I stopped two aisles over to check out the footwear when I overheard Matt saying something about a missing Sheriff. That was enough for me, I grabbed a pair of boots that I thought would work, a few pair of thick socks. I had everything I needed from that department, I made one more stop to get me things I could eat while I was in the motel and none perishable foods I can carry with me when I set out. By the time I got to the checkout line, the two sketchy guys were in from of me and there was only one line open, so I had no choice but to wait. While they were emptying their cart I noticed they added a few more things to make it look like they aren’t trying to cover up a murder. Then a phone rings. I stood there looking in the opposite direction in which they were standing. Matt approaches me,

“Umm dude, that’s your phone ringing.”

Looking at him amazed, I started to pat everywhere. There was a little compartment in my bag, I took it off, and took the phone out. Reluctant to answer it, I do against my better judgement.

“Hello.” I answered.

“28.192322, 102.092038; they kidnapped me.”

“Rhonda, Rhonda!” I yelled out as the phone disconnects.

“Hey, if you need help we’re easy to find. We’re heading camping but we can postpone that if you need help finding someone.” Ryan mentioned.

“Thank you Sir but I’m okay, my wife is drunk so you know how that goes.” I replied

“Okay then, I hope you enjoy your stay.” Ryan said pushing the cart.

“Yeah, enjoy Shubuta my brotha.” Matt said, throwing his fist in the air.

Ignoring his so called bonding gesture, I put my things on the counter for the cashier to ring up. She told me that both Ryan and Matt are great boys and she’s positive that Matt wasn’t trying to be rude. I gave her a side smile, like I truly cared about any of them. If it were up to me, I would blow this entire town to shit just because they allowed two psychopaths roam the streets freely. I paid for my things and went back to my room. The first thing I did was to find out where those coordinates would take me. It took me a little over ten minutes to find Rhonda’s location. What in the hell is in Coahuila Mexico? There’s nothing out there and maybe that’s the point. They found out they didn’t have the Unicorn File so they had Rhonda call and say she was kidnapped to get me to rescue her. I’m stuck at a crossroad and have no clue what to do; do I go there, possibly be attacked or not go there and they end up killing my wife?

I waited a few days to devise a plan. I can’t leave her there, even if it means putting my life on the line. If she betrayed me, then I will kill her in our next life, but for now I need to save the woman i believe I married. People these days take marriages for granted. There's always someone out there trying to fuck someone else's husband or wife. Since I'm cut from a different cloth, I hold my vows close to my heart. So I wouldn't be a real man if I left my wife to possibly die.

Part 18

Part 18

Since they’re not logging into the National Flight registry, I have no clue where they are headed. I have no choice than to take Cal’s word that they are looking to take over the agency on their own, in order to make an assassin team of women. That’s the only way I can think they would leave Cal behind. The bound between those four seemed unbreakable but I was also on the outside looking in, so I don’t know what kind of inner circle problems they were experiencing. For all of that, Steffanie could have left Cal to bleed out instead of taking out the time to fix his leg. I just don’t know, I kneeled down on the edge of the bed to send up prayers for Cal’s soul. He shouldn’t have died with the type of skill we all have, but his blood is on their hands.

I did everything I could in order to make myself feel comfortable enough to shower and wash my clothes, that was soaked in Cal’s blood and bits of brain matter. A few small household booby-traps in case someone comes in my room from the doorway, and I set a few outside the window. Although I’m on the seventh floor, agents like myself can scale a wall with no problem, so I needed to cover all bases. The motel was set up as two rooms, the bedroom/living area, and bathroom. There’s a little area where one could set up an ironing board, so I used that area to pin the contents of the Unicorn File. I needed to see what I was working with and how I would go about either disappearing for good, or taking over the agency on my own. Looking at over a thousand pages scattered on the wall, floor, in the bathroom, on the bed, and I still couldn’t see a firm connection. I went through every page, one at a time; then it hits me. It all starts with the new President that just took Office three months ago. President Dominic Tracey has ties with just about every major corporation and Foreign Officials. There’s files here about conspiracy, corruption, murder, attacks on the United States by the United States; and the worst of all, ways President Tracey is defrauding the people for his own personal gain. It’s safe to say, I have them by the balls, but I’m now the main target.

I left out of the motel the next morning to find different clothes, a new sturdy backpack, some combat boots, and maps. I figured, there’s no reason in buying a burner phone, I don’t believe I have anyone else that I can trust. While I was in the store halfway done my shopping, I ran into these two sketchy guys. They were in the camping section with me talking about how much tarp would they need to winterize the basement. The one fella, tall white guy, built like a football player, came over to introduce himself,

“Hi, I’m Ryan. Ryan Matters and this is my brother by another mother, Matt Henson. I never seen you in these parts before, here visiting?”

“Just passing through.” I replied, trying to keep my distance.

Part 16

Part 16

I'm stuck in Shubuta with no plan, wife, or map; how does this happen? I asked the guy to point me in the direction of the nearest town. Pointing northwest of where we were standing, then proceeded to tell me it was 53 miles away. No car for sell and he lives there at the hanger and only flies out of the area; but of course, with my luck, his plane is being worked on. I grabbed a few bottles of water and started to head out to get to the inner city of Shubuta.

"Hey uh, aren't you forgetting something?" The man yelled out.

Before I had a chance to answer there goes Cal walking out of the hanger. They left us both. Uncontrollable laughter came over me, they left me with the weakest link, the one that can't function because he has a broken leg. So now I get to travel 53 miles with this heavy bag and him on my shoulders.

"They did this shit on purpose." Cal said hobbling over towards me.

"Are you able to walk or do I need to carry you?"

"I don't need you to carry me, I can walk on my own. Did you hear me? They did this shit on purpose."

"Can we walk and talk. We have a long journey ahead of us and I want to get at least halfway there before we make camp."

"Yeah, whatever. They have the Unicorn File and the coordinates to get to the safe house. They want to do the takeover on their own, having an organization with just women assassins. I heard them talking about it while your wife was fixing the plane. After she found out about you and Elsey having sex."

"What, I didn't fuck her. She kissed me,  that was as far as it went."

"Reonna was talking to her while she was fixing the plane before yall came back. Telling her shit like, you two have been out there too long to just be hunting. After a few times of her saying that a few different ways, your wife asked if Elsey would have sex with you knowing you were married. Well, I'm sure you can figure out Reonna's answer. From then on she was quiet, just tinkering with the airplane. What sealed the deal is when Steffanie told you to wipe off the lip gloss. Rhonda was watching yall walk up the pathway and gasped. I assume she saw the lip gloss before you even got your the door, that's what tipped off Steffanie too look for what your wife saw. So basically, you got a great piece of ass by the sounds of it but it was a goodbye piece of ass."

Part 17

Part 17

I told Cal to drop it because we both need to stay focused on getting to the island. He told me again how they had the information with them but I told him not to worry about it,  just let me know when he needs to rest. We walked in silence until the sun started to depart from us. We set up camp, I hunted a few rabbits and picked berries while Cal rested up. After we ate dinner, we took turns napping while the other kept look out.

"Get up, we have movement." Cal whispered

Behind us I heard three sets of footsteps but only one person breathing, hard. I grabbed the bag and threw Cal over my shoulder and ran off in the direction we were heading initially. If I can make it deeper in the woods I can put Cal down somewhere safe and pick them off one at a time, killing the heavier of the three last since he's not that big of a threat, no pun intended. I heard one gunshot and felt a warm liquid run down my back. I got Cal to a safer place in the woods, propped him against the tree, and saw the bullet hole right through the side of his head.

They split up, trying to corner me in. As much as I didn't want to leave him there, I had no other choice. Checked him over for any weapons I could use since the only ammo and guns I have is in my bag, and we used 500 rounds of that already. Instead of finding a bunch of guns, there was one 9mm, five full magazines, and six grenades. I pulled the keys to all six and took off into the night. I maybe made it 150 yards before the explosion and I'm hoping it took out at least two of these head hunters.

The blast was powerful, to give me a ringing sound in my ears and slightly knock me off my feet. There was nothing and I mean nothing that was going to allow me to stop and give up, I just need to make it to the inner city, and I'll be half way to my destination. I must've ran the rest of the way because by the time I slowed down I was in the town of Shubuta. I searched around for a motel, there was a total of four with within a three block radius. I picked the one in between the three. This way I'll hear them coming before they make it here.

I checked in, cash, no identification needed. Went to my room and pulled out the Unicorn File to make sure it was all there, and it was. I looked at the information for the island and I had that too. I guess they thought I dropped this bag with the others. Shame on them!

Part 15

Part 15

Two hours into our flight, Rhonda has gotten sick at least four or five times. I walked to the back to check on her; Elsey, her new BFF stops me to make sure that I was aware that I was the reason she’s going through this, and that I’m not welcome. I push her to the side and started rubbing Rhonda’s back.

“I looked around and found a warm Ginger Ale, I hope this settles your stomach until we can get you to a Doctor.”

“I don’t need a Doctor and I don’t need you touching me.” Rhonda said between her getting sick and stuffing her head in the bucket.

I left the can soda near her and walked to the cockpit to see if they needed help with anything. Steffanie asked me to find another private landing strip so we can refuel. Within seconds it seemed like, there were flashing lights from a runway about 20 miles southeast from where we were located, placing that landing strip right outside of Shubuta Mississippi.

“I know it looks like we’re taking the wrong route but, if we want to stay out of view of the government, we have to stay outside the line of the commercial flights. Otherwise we’ll have to check in and give them our information.” Rhonda mentioned

“I figured that much, you’re doing a great job keeping this bird in the air.” I replied
“Don’t thank me, thank your wife. She’s the one that got us up and going.” Rhonda stated, looking at me out of the corner of her eye.

At first I thought nothing about that side-eyed comment, until I took my seat and buckled down for the landing. It seems obvious that everyone knows something about my marriage that I don’t. I guess the saying is right, men don’t recognize shit if it’s not tits and ass because I sure as hell thought we got pass the one issue we had; I guess we didn’t. I could feel the plane descending and within minutes we were landing on the strip, and everyone was excited to get out and get some fresh air. There was something in me during flight that wanted to shoot out a damn windows after the first hour because good grief, that bucket of vomit in the rear of the plane was a killer. There’s no air conditioning and no ventilation, therefore it’s hot and stunk like a whore house in the ghetto. No one was ready for that type of travel time. I was the first at the door with my bag strapped to my back. As soon as it opened, I didn’t wait for the ladder to get all the way to the door, before I took a leap and tumbled down the steps making a huge fool of myself and spraining my ankle on the way down. After being on a vomit plane for two hours, I’m willing to break a leg to get some fresh air.

“Can you fill it up please Sir.” I said handing him a little over $10,000.00.

We need to keep a low profile, so some of that was for gas and the rest was what we call, hush money. The guy didn’t say a word, he pulled the tank over and started fueling right away. I asked where the bathroom was located and he pointed behind the hanger. I took my time, checking out the area, making sure there wasn’t anyone hiding in the bushes. The last thing I need is to be caught with my pants down, literally. I get to the outhouse, lock myself in and handle my business. The relief of clearing my bladder was the more happiest moment I’ve had since that large slice of deer meat last night. I heard the plane’s engine turn on; I finished pissing, stuffed my manhood in, and was zipping up my pants trying to get out the door. By the time I reached the front of the hanger, the plane was rolling down the strip.

“What the fuck just happened?” I yelled to the guy that fueled the plane.

“The pregnant girl said to leave you here, so they ummmm. They left you here.”

Amazed at my life right now, even this fucker that we don’t know knows she’s pregnant. Pacing back and forth trying to come up with another plan, I stopped and unstrapped my bag. Looking inside I see the Unicorn File, the information to get to the Cancade’s Estate in the Cayman Islands, and a large amount of money. So I stood there asking myself, where in the hell are they going?

Part 14

Part 14

The next morning I was abruptly woken up by the sound of the airplane Rhonda must've been working all night on. I raced over to where everyone was standing and cheering, but felt like I've been casted out of the group. Cal comes over and offers his condolences as if my marriage was dead in the water. Reonna yells out that we'll be heading out in an hour, to be on board or get left behind. Rhonda boards the plane with a few bags, I grabbed the bags that were left and headed in behind her.

"Eric, I need space and when I say space I mean stay away from me. I'll talk to you about our marriage when I'm ready, not when you're ready." Rhonda stated sitting closer to the rear of the plane.

I dropped the bags near her and took my seat as far away from her as I could. Then out of nowhere, she rushes back outside and starting throwing up. Steffanie bypassed her and whispers,

"I'm sure you can figure out what the problem is that she's having."

"I'm going to be a father?"

"I don't know, I'm just looking at the signs. When she was shot it didn't hit her in or near her stomach so it's possible. Any thing is possible."

I sat back down since she was on her way back, and behind her was Elsey carrying a big semi white painters bucket. Rhonda took her seat, Elsey sat next to her placing the bucket in the isle. Cal boarded the plane with this huge grin plastered on his face.

"Still high I see." I chuckled

"Hey man, don't judge me, judge your momma." Cal laughed in return parking himself across the isle from where I was sitting.

Steffanie and Reonna went to the cockpit and started the plane. They closed the door and I for one didn't want to be awake during this flight. I can't talk to my wife, Elsey seems to be keeping her company so that leaves me to catch a few winks before we needed to refill and continue on our way to the final destination. Looking out the window in hopes of finding some type of peace, instead I see four Hummers coming our way.

"We gotta go, we gotta go, they're coming." I held out frantically.

I yelled at Elsey to get Rhonda on the floor. I pulled Cal out of his seat so he's also not looking at a bullet coming his way. I yell out again that we needed to go. They were coming and coming fast. Running to the cockpit I busted in to let them know that in less than a minute we were going to be under attack. Reonna told me to hold on, put the plane in motion, and off we went down the airstrip. The only question running through my mind is, if we are going to have enough time and speed to take off, or will this be our final resting place.

I have no clue what they did or how they did it but within seconds of us taking off down the strip we were slowly taking flight. I can hear gun fire coming from behind us, I turned to look, and there was Rhonda laying in the floor screaming and reaching for me. I wasn't supposed to move but she's calling for me and I would be an idiot if I didn’t run to her aid.

"I'm here, I got you." As I blanketed her with myself, trying to catch any bullet that could potentially harm her.

After so long, the plane leveled off, the turbulence, and gun fire was a distant memory. I lifted myself off of Rhonda, helped her back in her seat, then walked back to sit near Cal. She called me out of fear, not because she's ready to talk about us. The last thing I plan to do with anyone, is to play house. All in all, I feel like I deserve an apology for even having to be bothered with something so stupid and trivial.

Part 13

Part 13

I got dressed and shook this feeling of pain. Went over to check Cal out and there he was standing. He didn't seem like he was in any pain, I looked down and saw that Steffanie fused the lower part of his leg with shinny bolts and a makeshift circular guard to keep the screws from being bumped or possibly snagged.

"Looks good, how does it feel?"

"I have so many pain killers in me I can't even feel my face." Cal said smiling.

We walked out front just in time for the cutting of dinner. I got a few big pieces and went over to hopefully talk to Rhonda that was sitting and laughing it up with Elsey.

"Can I talk to you for a minute, please?"

"Eric, I have nothing to say."

"Well I do. I didn't want...."

"I kissed him, it wasn't his fault. I wanted to see what you saw in a man like this." Elsey declared.

"You ruined my marriage to see what I saw in him? It shouldn't be any of your concern what another woman sees in her husband. It's not for you to try them out. You sit and laugh in my damn face knowing your plan was to get a piece of what's mine."

"I wouldn't say that as proud as you are if I were you. Sure he's good looking, nice body, and has a brilliant mind but he's not the right man for a woman of your stature."

"Who the fuck are you to tell me what and who is compatible with me? You don't know me, you just know of me!"

"I know more about you than you think. We don't pair up with just anyone."

"Pair up? You needed our help as much as we needed yours, so miss me with your holy than thou speech."

Rhonda looks at me, looks at her, and told us that she hopes we're happy together. One kiss caused all of this? I think not, there's something going on with Rhonda that she's not speaking on.

"Can we talk for a minute?" I said running behind her.

"There's nothing to say Eric. You messed up a great thing and for what?"

"I'm not messing up anything, you are. When you're ready to be that strong black intelligent woman I fell in love with, come talk to me." I said walking in the opposite direction.

All I know is I need this all over with so I can be by myself for a couple of months. Who am I kidding, this shit is killing me, and it hasn't even reached the ten minute mark. Everything about me seems incomplete, off, I'm just not feeling the same as I did before I left to help Elsey.

"What just happened?" Steffanie said concerned

"Long story short, your Secret Agent kissed me while we were looking for food. I wasn't flirting, it wasn't an invite, it just happened now Rhonda is pissed and don't want to talk to me."

"So you didn't invite that kiss?"

"No Ma’am, I'm happy with my marriage. I would never hurt Rhonda intentionally."

Steffanie told me that she can only handle her Agent, but can't fix what's broken in my marriage. I thanked her and walked off into the darkness to find a place to eat and sleep under the stars. I need to clear my head before the next attack or I won't be able to fix what's broken in my marriage, because I'll be dead.

Part 12

Part 12

"You don't have to say anything. I was wrong, I know you're married, but I kissed you to see what she sees in you. Don't worry, it'll never happen again because I don't see it." Elsey said walking ahead of me.

I felt like I should defend myself, I'm a good looking man. I guess if there wasn't anything sexual behind it then there's no reason to go into details about my feelings for Rhonda.

"That's fine, but next time please respect my wife enough to ask instead of trying to see, instead of understand."

"It's not like you fought me off, you kissed me as much as I kissed you. I only initiated the action." She smiles at me.

I can't call her a lair, I didn't stop it from happening. Maybe I wanted to see what kissing another woman felt like. Her lips were soft but there weren't any sparks, and it sure as hell wasn't like when Rhonda kisses me.

We reached the front doors and everyone was still just as busy as they were when I left. I dropped off the deer meat near the front door when Steffanie came out of the room where Cal was being held up.

"Cal's leg is broken. The bullet hit his bone, splitting it in two on its way out. The good news, it didn't hit anything that'll make him continuously bleed, but the leg needs to be set and casted." Steffanie said with sweat pouring down her face.

"Great, we have a master martial arts assassin with one good leg. Basically, we have a paperweight." I said angrily knowing we'll have to carry him from now until we get to our final destination.

"Actually, no. I'm not sweating this bad from doing nothing. Go check him out for yourself and I'll start a fire, I need the air anyway. You may want to clean that lip gloss off before your wife notices." Steffanie said.

I walked away, wiping my lips off. When I  reached the area where Cal was located, Rhonda was already standing there and boy was she pissed.

"What's wrong sweets?"

"You tell me? Where were you and with who?"

"I went to help Elsey to hunt our food."

"Don't fuck with me Eric. Do you hear me? Don't fuck with me."

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Come with me."

I followed closely to Rhonda trying to figure out if she somehow knew about the kiss already. She walked into an office way in the back of the building. She slammed the door behind us, charged me, grabbing my cheeks, and squeezing. Looking into one another's eyes in silence. She kisses me, not soft but full of passion and desire. There was no turning back after a kiss like that. We tussled a tad, a little fighting trying to gain dominance when I overpowered her and couldn't help but to give it the way she truly loves it. Deep, hard, and rugged.

Hard breathing, sweat, and blood running down the both of our bodies from cutting ourselves during out rough moments. We lay there gasping for air,

"I know you kissed her." Rhonda stated pausing after the first two words.

"She kissed me."

"Was it worth it?"

"Worth what?"

"Losing me?" She said getting up reaching for her clothes.

"Wait, what? She kissed me, it wasn't wanted. I didn't want to kiss her. Don't do this."

"You were mine, no one else's and you allowed that to be tainted. You should've seen it coming and put a stop it but you didn't. You didn't because it was what you wanted." Rhonda turned her back, walked out the door, and left me laying there naked.

Part 11

When I reached the rear of the building, Elsey was sitting on an old metal drum, craving into a few thick wooden branches. From where I stand, it looks like she was making arrows.

"Great craftsmanship, I haven't seen that style of work since working with Chief Adoeette; it means great tree. Where did you learn?" I said, trying to break the ice.

"From Great Tree, he's Cal's grandfather." Elsey muttered without looking up.

"I thought, maybe I could help you search for that buffet. I don't want to be stuck in there with those three."

"That would be great, do you know how to hunt?"

"Sure do."

"Well Eric, you better start building a bow. The wood is over there." She pointed in the direction of a pile of cut branching.

It brought back a lot of memories chipping away at this wood piece. I had a decent bow in less than and hour, and Elsey helped by craving my arrows. We pulled apart some wires and used the elastic wiring inside to make our string. I set mine as tight as possible, so whatever I hurt, it'll died fast with the least amount of pain.

"You have some skills for an old man." Elsey chuckled walking towards the woods.

We walked about a half of a mile away from the building and started building ourselves a blind. We need to be able to see the animals that may walk pass, but we don't want them to see us. An hour into sitting still, with no conversation whatsoever, our first kill came within range, a damn raccoon. I'd rather starve. Elsey started laughing uncomfortably,  so bad that she may have scared away anything that was in a 100 yard distance. At least 100 yards, could be more.

"What's so funny?"

"You'd rather starve!" Mocking my voice as best as she could.

"Sorry, I didn't know I said it that out loud." I whispered.

"So, you and Rhonda. Are you two really married or is that your wifey?"

"She's my wife legally."

"What a catch."

"Thank you."

"I was talking about you, you've caught a great woman. Full of integrity, loyalty, and honor. Let's not forget how beautiful she is. Wait, did you think that compliment was coming your way?" She asked with chuckle.

"Either way it's a compliment to me. We choose one another and I married her. Either way I'm winning."

"A little self-absorbed much?"

"I don't think I'm self-absorbed, I'm confident in both of us. We're a great looking couple, successful by our own standards, and in love. Can't get any better than that."

"I guess." Elsey said standing up in front of me.

I turned my focus back on looking for food because this situation may have just went in the wrong direction. I look over an see a seven pointer that's in clear reach. I signaled Elsey but I think she got the signals crossed, because of out nowhere she kisses me. Her soft lips met with mine and I had no clue what to do. I jumped to my feet, took out one of the makeshift arrows, pulled back, aimed then released. Right between the eyes.

"You see that, nice clean shot. We can gut and behead him here, but skin him when we get back to base." I said pretending what just happened didn't actually happen.

"Yeah right, whatever." Elsey said as she pulled out her knife.

Ignoring what and how she said that, and the fact she's acting like a six year old that didn't get their way. I know I'll have to address is before we get back to base, then I have to tell my wife. The last thing I want is to be dishonest with Rhonda, making her think I'm lying or doing something wrong. I will not be a victim to stupidity. While my mind was racing about how to go about confronting Elsey, I ended up getting everything that we wouldn't eat of this buc, tied it to me, with the fur touching my clothing. I told Elsey that it was time to head back and that we needed to discuss what happened before we got back to base.

Part 10

Part 10

During our travels we came up with a plan to get us to our next destination, the Cayman Islands. The route we took ran us right into a roadblock, we were about 300 yards when we noticed. Too close to turn around but not far enough to get away without being shot at. Out of all the vehicles that we could've had, she picks the Chester the Molester van, that can't go more than 50mph. Steffanie started driving slower and slower in the direction of the roadblock,  so we would have more time to load as many clips as we could before holy hell breaks out. Right when we were within 50 yards, shots started, and we did everything we could to return fire; but we were being shot at from all different directions. There's no way of getting out of this going straight ahead, since we aren't aware of where all the shooters are  located. Steffanie put the van in reverse and stomped on the gas pedal, taking us out of shooting range. Which in fact gives us a chance to see the shooters attempting to get a better shot.

Rhonda placed the sniper rifle on my side of the van and Cal set up on the side of Steffanie, while the rest of us focused on the men coming our way from the front. Unloading clips faster than Elsey and Reonna can fill them, we were still knocking them down two and three at a time. After over 500 rounds easy, it was quiet on the streets. We each got out one at a time, looking around for extra shooters, then bang. Cal was shot in the leg. Reonna returned fire and put one in his head and two in his chest. Once the coast was clear I threw Cal over my shoulder and headed directly to their Hummers, grabbing guns and ammo on the way.

Elsey started ciphering gas out of another Hummer to make sure we had enough gas to make it to the next gas station. Steffanie started to tend to Cal's gunshot wound that seems to be a threw and threw. Reonna got behind the wheel, Rhonda was keeping lookout, as I was mapping out different ways for us to get to the airstrip, even with more roadblocks such as this one. If I can find back roads we'll take those instead of normal public service roads. It's a gift and curse to be in Upstate New York, but the leverage it gives us to stay off the grid, is a million times better than to be fighting through City streets trying not to be seen.

After twenty minutes we were back on the road but in style this time and we're blessed because we have their communication device. This gave us a huge step up on evading this group of killers, knowing between where we are and where we're headed, I'm sure we'll come in contact with more than just this group.

There wasn't a hiccup in our plan until we got to the airstrip. The airstrip that's been vacated for some time now, I'm guessing about ten years. The upside to this is that we have a plane, it needs work, but a plane nonetheless. Steffanie shared that our illegal little cyber devil Reonna, has a pilot license and has flown as far as Japan for a cover, posing as a pilot. So, we have wings, and a pilot. Now all we need is a master plane mechanic.

"If you can get me a tutorial on how planes operate, I should be able to fix it if there's anything on the internet that'll walk me through it." Rhonda said, as she walks towards me, undressing me with her eyes.

"Reonna, will take care of that. I'm going to look for something that'll help Cal, Eric search for the tools, and Elsey find us something to eat and drink." Steffanie said.

"Yeah, we're in the middle of nowhere but I'm supposed to find a water source and a buffet. Just great!" Elsey replied walking out the door.

Everyone stood in silence for a brief second then off to do the jobs they were ordered. I personally had one of the easiest jobs, I removed two tarp like blankets that revealed all the tools needed. Instead of sitting around doing nothing, I went outside to help Elsey find food.

Part 8

“What are you talking about? I almost lost you and no, I don’t have that problem.” As I point to my semi-erect genital area.

“I’m sorry, I’m all over the place, and I know that sex won’t make things better but between the frustration of hiding and not getting, any is causing problems within.”

I walk over to her and whispered in her ear for us to skip dinner. She pushes me away from her, turns her back, and started to put on a pair of black boy shorts. On my knees I crawl up behind her pulling them back down with my teeth. Placing my hand on the low end of her back to push her forward so she’s bending over, while holding her hips to make sure she complies.

“I wasn’t saying right now Eric.”

“What you said is you need a connection, let us connect.”

She turns to face me, hand under my chin, she escort me to my feet. I wasn’t going to take no for an answer; she's my wife, and feels as if I'm not giving her what she desires. Although, all I'm trying to do is protect her by remaining focused. I swat her hand away from my face and lean in to kiss her. Forcing her against the wall as she grabs the back of my neck, pulling me into her. Legs around my waist, arms around my neck, heavy breathing, and a burst of adrenaline takes over the both of us simultaneously. She’s pulling me closer, scratching me as I place her on the dresser. Everything about me is ready to go, I didn’t know how bad I needed this time until right now. A bomb could come through the window but I can’t say that I would stop. Pulling away from her I tell her not to move. Legs bent, arms stretched out, and her lovely spot beckoning me to enter. I sat on the edge of the bed admiring her throb and gush with excitement. I knew exactly what I wanted, creeping back over to her, partially bent over so my thick beard can met her pleasuring hole.

I give it just the way she likes it; I know because she rubs the back of my head with approval. The shaking, body jerking, and fluids are just confirmation that I have her body under my control. Right, left, circle, around, in, out, suck, kiss, then repeat. She places her feet on my shoulders, pushing me away from her, both of our bodies dripping with sweat she tugs on my manhood and places it where she wants it to be. I don’t mind being my wife’s sex slave, I’m here to please her whatever way she desires but since it’s be awhile; I take it slow, hoping not to damage her wounds that are not yet healed. After a few short slow strokes, she yells out for more. Still slow, but I’m going as deep as she allows all the while tapping from side to side so she knows that I have full control. Without hesitation, he grabs my throat, pushes me off of her, and onto the floor. She jumps on top, holding my hands down showing dominance over me, basically telling me it’s time for me to be submissive. With every stroke of her body pounding vigorously against mine, I could feel the tightness around me, and the wetness blessing my stomach and thighs. Reaching our climax at the same time, her body drops on mine, as we synchronize until our very last thrust.

REVISED!!!!

After our second shower, we headed downstairs to help out so they'll have time to relax, while we kept watch. Rhonda went to the kitchen to whip us up something to eat, while I went to the control center to locate the others. Reonna and Cal was there discussing where they wanted to go for a vacation. So it's safe to say that these last few months After our second shower, we headed downstairs to help out so they'll have time to relax, while we kept watch. Rhonda went to the kitchen to whip us up something to eat, while I went to the control center to locate the others. Reonna and Cal was there discussing where they wanted to go for a vacation. So it's safe to say that these last few months has stressed everyone out. If we can move this takeover along, the faster we can safely go on vacation. I gave them the option to do something they wanted to do but they refused, I noticed Steffanie on camera 14 which is located where Rhonda said she was heading. I got closer to the screen and couldn't locate Rhonda. I asked them to switch all cameras so I can find our where Rhonda was located. After three switches there she stood, near the pool talking to a white man, dressed like a gardner. Neatly dressed with a Duckies style uniform.

"Who is that?"

"We don't know." They said nervously, jumping to their feet with weapons drawn.

"Wait a minute, no guns."

"It's Rhonda, your wife. Sir!" Cal mentioned as if I have forgotten.

"Right, my wife! I know she can handle herself."

"We understand Sir, it's just that she hasn't fully recovered." Reonna replied.

"Trust me, she's fine." I said, knowing what took place upstairs between us.

I looked on monitor one and there was Elsey  talking to a similar dressed man. It's not coincidental that these two men are here. I asked them what Elsey was doing out front, that's when they informed me that she was packing the van up with the money and guns she found in the basement. The sensors never went off,

"They're here for the Unicorn File. We need to move." I said

"We don't have it, we haven't found it yet." Cal said

"Rhonda and I have it already. Stop sitting on your asses, we need to move."

Reonna went to inform Steffanie, I ran upstairs to get the duffle bag that the file was in, and Cal went out front to free up Elsey. By the time I got out front, everyone including the two men  that wondered onto the campus without our knowledge. Both were passed out and Rhonda was tying up one and Steffanie the other. I jumped in the van and immediately started looking at a map to find a small privately owned airstrip.

Steffanie got behind the wheel and drove northwest towards a different side exit. She said it's a large chance they will have people coming from the northeast and southeast of the Cancade campus. Going this way would push us 150 miles out of our way, but it's the safest. If we go the opposite direction of which they're coming, they'll only have about 20 or 30 shooters waiting for us in any other direction. Most of their shooters are coming straight at us, in the same direction those two men came from. So, because we would be out numbered 20 to one, it'll be safer for us to travel 150 miles out of the way to make it there alive, wounded badly but alive. Going in this direction puts our ETA at four and a half hours of travel time, only if we can find a gas station before we hit the fourth hour. Otherwise, it'll take us closer to six hours or more of travel time, depending on our injuries. I nodded to agree.

Getting to the Cayman Islands will give us time to devise a plan without distractions. Plus, it'll give us some time to clear our heads, so we don't make any mistakes like we just did. Suddenly the van stops, Rhonda and Reonna hopped out dragging the two men behind them. While placing them on their knees, Rhonda asked one question, the one guy answered, and Reonna shot the other in the back of the head. Part 7

The last time we took a shower together it didn’t turn out the way we expected it too. I haven’t had a chance to truly caress my wife properly, but from past experience now isn’t the time. I pull her closer to me, guide her into the shower, and wash her from head to toe. As the water runs from the top of her head and the soap suds fall at her feet, I couldn’t help but to noticed both gunshot wounds that are still trying to heal. The water skips over the newest beauty marks that bless her body, reminding me that life should never be taken for granted. I stepped to be closer to her, allow our body to become one under the warm water that cleanse us. Kissing her collarbone, while telling her how much I love and miss her. Her soft gentle hands, rubbing my bald head, telling me that we were made for one another. That I am her chocolate knight in shinning armor as she runs her hands from my head, to my neck, shoulders, across my chest; then there was a knock at the bathroom door.

“I’m glad you two can take out the time to relax but we have work to do.” Steffanie yelled through the door.

“We know, but this is the only time we’ll have to clean ourselves and spend a little time with one another before holy hell starts, and I suggest you all do the same when we get out.” I replied angrily.

“Cool your jets, I was just making fun. Reonna and Elsey are in the pool, Cal already showered while I kept eye in the control room. Reonna was able to locate the code generator and reconfigured it to stay unarmed for 24 hours, but the sensors on the ground is still working so we’ll know when someone is coming our way. I actually came up here to call you two for dinner so no fooling around right now, come eat.” Steffanie said.

“Eric, sometimes I wish we were back at the prison. When I had you all to myself and didn’t have to worry if we would live to see another day. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t give up this lifestyle for anything, I just need time alone with you for more than 24 hours.” Rhonda said as she exited the shower leaving me at full attention and by myself.

I washed and rinsed myself as fast as I could without missing any parts so I could talk to Rhonda, while we were getting dressed. I don’t want her to think this is going to be our lives forever, that it’s a temporary situation until we can take over the agency.

“Sweets, this is not going to be the end all for us. Once we take over, we can travel the World without having to look over our shoulders.”

“What you don’t understand is that I don’t mind that, what I do mind is that we don’t have a safe place to go to get away. Time for us to enjoy our marriage, enjoy one another, hell I enjoy riding you into the midnight hours but haven’t had a chance to in months. I’m not saying that it has to be everyday but three times a week is fine by me. I need to feel that connection again.”

“Rhonda I understand and I’ll do better. This past month was a close call, I don’t want to hurt you, but I do want you and I want you all the time; but the looking over our shoulders is causing me to be concerned.”

“So you’re telling me you have an issue getting it up?”

Part 6

We made our way to the Cancade Campus without being noticed  but we have about two hours before the alarm comes back online. Once that happens, if we open the door the alarm will sound and alert every Law Enforcement Agency within a one thousand mile radius. This man's name holds weight across the World since he's the newest Director of the Assassin Taskforce. Well he was, he should be a cold slab of meat by now. Steffanie drives up to the front doors and faced the car in the direction to exit the Cul-de-sac style driveway. For easy exiting I assume.

Reonna and Cal found the security control room so she can set up her work station. She's going to try to keep up with the alarm codes so we'll have more time to get what we need and find the Unicorn File. Cal is keeping lookout of the entire campus by the cameras in the control room and reactivated the sensors around the perimeter so he'll know where our threat is coming from.

Steffanie took to the walls, literally. She went into the office and started knocking the wall down behind the desk looking for laundered money the Cancades blackmailed from almost every politician and business in the four surrounding States. There's millions behind those walls and we need every cent if we're going to take over our old department. Rhonda went into Mr. Cancade's closet and found the safe that hopefully holds the Unicorn File. While she's in there trying to crack the safe I figured it'll be a smart idea to get Mrs. Cancade's blood off of me and clean up while I have a chance. Looking around the room to find some clothes I could fit I stumbled onto a tie rack that was off balance. I looked closer and noticed that the tie rack was on a track that allows it to move backwards and forward, but why?

Taking a chance, I pushed the tie rack back, and a side panel popped open. I pulled the panel back which opened into a room. On the walls were racks of machine guns of all types, cases of ammo, and a few cases of C4 and detonators. On the desk there was a big black envelope. Kind of like the ones we would receive if there was a mission, but this one was like a manilla envelope and filled to the gills.

Without alerting anyone I opened the envelope and noticed I had my hands on the Uniform File. I stuffed the information back inside, put it inside of a duffle bag that I filled with handguns and ammo. Exiting the hidden room I look over at Rhonda as the safe door popped ajar. Cash, passports, and jewelry was stored inside. Rhonda retrieved the cash and passports and gave them to me to put into the almost filled duffle bag. Without word from the others we locked the bedroom door so we could partake in a shower and maybe some alone time. Although Rhonda isn't 100% when it comes to her health, the advances she's making let's me know my wife is back.

Ripping off my shirt, she pushes me into the bathroom. Guides my pants down and undressing me from head to toe.

"I think you need to slow down Sweets. You're not ready for me yet."

"Are you scared because I've had a lot of rest? Does it frighten you that I'll have you screaming like a girl scout?"

"You're talking a lot of game until I have you walking funny."

"Show me what you got." Rhonda said stripping down to her birthday suit.

Part 5.

I grabbed the wooden paddle, placed it between my legs, and put on a pair of leather gloves to keep the splinters from digging into my heads. The soles of her feet were already exposed and ready to be battered. At first I take it light on her, giving her just enough pain to understand that everything matters. Everything that she has done and her daughter will do matters. With a little more force I hit the soles of her feet and one burst open. Her screams and cries fell on deaf ears until Reonna came in yelling that Cal and Elsey made it in safely, eliminated the target, and that Steffanie and Rhonda was outside waiting on our departure. I  gave her the okay to start tearing down her station and packing it into the van.

I turned back to Mrs. Cancade and started going in on her feet. I started swinging the paddle as if it were a baseball bat and my objective was to hit a homerun. With every swing blood poured from her feet, with every swing there was cracking sounds coming from her ankles and knees. I wanted to stop and put one in the head but something in me couldn’t resist the thought of stopping. I continued to swing until her legs were noticeably broken and even then, I couldn’t stop. The thought of how my wife was treated during her capture with the Cancade’s family’s foot soldiers, riddled through my core forcing me to come out of character and beat this woman to death by the soles of her feet. Giving her the message that the ground my wife walks on is sacred land and should have been respected. Mrs. Cancade’s eyes filled with tears, face red, and she looks like she is barely holding on but even then, I couldn’t stop.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t know she was being held until you came. I swear I didn’t know, if I would have known I would’ve stopped them from beating her.” Mrs. Cancade said, yelling and gasping between each word.

Then there was a gunshot blast from behind me, blood decorated my right side, from my face to mid-thigh. I looked towards the sound and there was Rhonda standing in the doorway as beautiful as she was when we met.

"We don't have time for this. Reonna said the codes will change within three to five hours, we need to go."

I gathered my tools, made a call for a clean up team, then smashed the cell phone to make sure we couldn't be traced. By the time I reached the van, there was a brand new burner phone waiting for me.

"I got rid of all of our cell phones and told Cal and Elsey to destroy theirs. If we can get the Unicorn File do you know what we can do with that? Our mission has changed, it's now Operation Takeover." Steffanie said with excitement.

"Let's do it!" Rhonda exclaimed.

"In for a penny, in for a pound; I'm in." Reonna said boldly.

"I'll wait until Cal and Elsey weighs in." I said as I cleaned the blood off my skin.

"Eric's in." Rhonda said glaring at me.

"And Cal and Elsey are in as well, trust me." Steffanie said as she drove off.

Part 4

Part 4

I grab her thumb on her right hand, placed it between the jaws, and squeezed then snapped her thumb backwards. Mrs. Cancade’s scream was deafening to say the least. I waited for her to calm down before I went onto the next finger, but while waiting patiently, Mrs. Cancade started rambling off about a Unicorn File and how she knows where it’s located if I was willing to allow her daughter and son to live. I walked out, with Cal walking closely on my heels leaving her alone in the room. I grabbed the phone because I didn’t know there was such a file out there.

“Steffanie, have you ever heard of the a Unicorn File?”

“Yes, that file holds information on everyone that is someone, even the King and Queens of England. Do you know where the file is?”

I abruptly hung up the phone, ran back into the room with a pen and paper. I told Mrs. Cancade that if she writes down everything we need to know, the code and the location of the Unicorn File that I would make sure that her son and daughter remains untouched. It  was like she started writing before I could finish my sentence. By this time Reonna came back, the information was noted; and I sent Cal and Elsey back out to take the boy to a safe location. Secure the property and make sure that the alarm codes on everything worked. They were advised to sit on the house until we get there but not to touch anything.

Reonna set up a route for them to take so we would have a clear view of them until they got closer to the Cancade’s campus. They took every precaution to stay out of sight, most roads they traveled down had minimal video feed but Reonna was able to tap into private surveillance cameras in order to have eyes on the ground. About an hour into their travels they finally reach the outskirts of the Cancade campus. We lost all video feed but Reonna somehow tapped into their surveillance without triggering any alarms.

“We’re in Sir. Her son is laying out near the pool, he seems to be by himself but I'll search the home cameras before Cal and Elsey get there.”

“Is this feed being recorded?”

“Not any longer Sir, I took over all controls. There’s no security on campus since both Cancades aren’t on the property.”

“Great, keep the team posted.”

“Will do Sir but if I may.”

“Go ahead.”

“The Cancade boy is a target, you won’t be able to keep your word with Mrs. Cancade.”

“Understood, confirm elimination when they call in.”

“Yes Sir.”

I walked into the room where Mrs. Cancade was being held and asked if she knew her son was a target. She started crying, shaking her head no but deep down, I know she knew his time was expired. I was trying to figure out why they would've left him behind since normally they all travel together.

“Please, it’s a misunderstanding. Please don’t kill my boy, kill me instead.” Mrs. Cancade pleaded

“You’re going to die either way. We aren’t the ones that put a target on his head, we’re the ones that carry out the mission. Just like your husband made sure that we were all blacklisted when he took over our taskforce. Your husband, with your help, turned all of our lives upside down. Because of the two of you we have no place to call home and every assassin in the World looking for us so no, excuse me if I have no fucks to give about your soon to be dead son.”

“I have more information that can get you off the blacklist.” Said Mrs. Cancade

“You have this all wrong Mrs. Cancade, we aren’t doing this to get off of the blacklist. We’re doing this to gain access to the other blacklist assassins. We are going to be the new faces of the CIA after we take out each of you spineless nay-sayers. We aren’t trying to get back into the group of men and women you tainted against us, we’re bringing our own team, our own division.”

“Robert said he should’ve killed you in Paris.”

“Your husband never seen me in Paris, he was too busy with the new Intern playing hide the Eiffel Tower.”

“You’re a liar.”

“And by now your husband is already dead and you’ll be meeting him soon. So, do us all a favor and shut the hell up before I torture you for the fun of it.”

“If I’m going to die anyway, what does it matter?”

“You’re right, what does it matter.”

Part 3

Standing in the middle of the floor clinching the cell phone with one hand and nervously cracking my knuckles with the other. I stand there watching the screen trying to figure out how they were going to pull this off without being spotted. I know how Rhonda or I would handle this, but they are young and new, but I'm hoping they're ready.

Elsey guides the woman in the other direction and the children quickly follows her mother's lead. I saw Cal standing near the side entrance, holding the door for the ladies to exit. The door closes behind Elsey leaving us blinded for all but ten seconds before Reonna finds them on a street camera facing the alley in which they exited on. Their faces are hidden as if they're aware of where the cameras are located. Exiting from the alley onto the highly traffic walkway where they disappeared into the crowd. Blending carefully, so well that even Reonna couldn't locate them. She switched from the cameras to the tracking devices in their phones to make sure they weren't being held captive and still on the move. It's been confirmed that they are moving in our direction.

I head to another room to set up my tools for torture; there's information we need, we need it fast, and with the least about of hassle. She can either die fast or take the scenic route, the choice will be hers.

"So...... what are you planning for the child?" Reonna asked.

"We only hurt children if they're a target, that little girl is not a target and don't have to be a casualty since she's not with her father." I replied as I bolt the steel wrist and ankle cuffs to the metal reclining chair.

"You're going to let her go?"

"Yes, she's going to live. Is that a problem for you?"

"No, I prefer the child be allowed to grow up."

"Well Reonna it's settled, we both agree the child lives."

The first sensor goes off, then the seventh sensor goes off. Cal and Elsey are back with the target's wife and child. I went out to meet them in the hallway and noticed the dress the little girl was wearing but a black hood was covering her head being held down by pretty pink headphones.

"Sir, the little girl didn't see our faces and we put headphones on her with music so she couldn't hear our conversation." Elsey mentioned.

"Reonna, take the little girl and drop her off at the nearest police station. Make sure you're not seen."

"Yes Sir."

Reonna takes the little girl setting off motion sensors seven and one. Cal took Mrs. Cancade to the chair and strapped her down extending her legs outward by reclining the metal chair. I removed her shoes and ripped the soles of her stockings. Elsey retreats to another room but Cal stays behind to enjoy the festivities I assume.

"Mrs. Cancade, my name is Eric. I'll be the one dealing with you from now until the second you take you last breath. Either way you're going to die today but how and how fast you die depends on you. I'm going to ask you two questions, if you give me the right answers the first time, I'll make it fast and painless. If not, then it's going to be a long day for you."

I take off her black hood and remove the tape from her mouth so she can answer me. I waited for her to catch her breath from all of the excitement.

"Mrs. Cancade, where is the safe house your husband owns in the Cayman Islands?"

"East End Marshland Natural Habitat off of High Rock Drive. He developed land dead center, only we know about it and the builders that constructed the land area for us. You have to use a boat to get there,  we have one docked with the coordinates to get there hidden under the floor panel in the resting cabin off the boat, in the bathroom."

"That's great Mrs. Cancade. Now, what's the code to your home security? Understand that I'll be sending someone there to try the code, if it's wrong and the Police show up I promise the pain you're going to feel is twenty times worse than child labor."

"My oldest son is in the house, I don't want you to kill him." Mrs. Cancade cried out

"Wrong answer." I said reaching for the pliers

Part 2

Part 2

My name is Eric, I was an undercover Warden for a women's prison that housed two of the five most dangerous women in the World. One is my current wife and the other, my late mother in-law. I assisted in her escape after falling in love with her while she was incarcerated. During our first outing it was official, I needed her in my life long after my departure with the prison. I spoke to the higher ups and got her approved by the United States of America to be released under Government supervison, given that she trained and became an assassin for the CIA.

The Government then turned on us, making us enemy number one and two. Every assassin out there has us on their radar, with a bounty for our heads set at five million dollars each. There's a few groups that's always been loyal to me, like Steffanie and her team.

Just when I was about to go into my next thought, Cal called to check in letting us know he was in position, had eyes on Elsey but the target's plane hasn't landed. Cal was given instructions to stay vigilant and as close to Elsey without being made. The mission is to apply lotion on the target without getting caught. Cal made mention that Elsey got to her location equipped with nude color gloves to match her skin and have already applied the lotion to the palm of her glove, so it's easier to apply to the target.

"We have visual." Reonna blurted out

I was heading in her direction when the phone went off again. Torn between the two I take a slight jog back, grabbed the phone, then over to Reonna to see what she had.

"Go ahead." answering the phone

"Target landed with a small child and his wife. Confirmation to eliminate the target."

I look at the monitors and notice a little girl holding his hand. She's smiling but proving how hard it is for her to keep up, but she's trying her little hardest. Skipping along, side by side continuously looking up at this man for a smile in return.

"Confirmed, target and child but we need the wife alive."

It's a hard decision to make but there's no way we can infect him without infecting her. Anyone that touches him will also be infected, setting off a chain reaction, or a fairly large pandemic killing over twenty-two million people. This is the war we fight on the daily behind the scenes, the terror we plague our own Country with because this is what we are trained to do. We need one of the three dead, two will definitely die but we also know that a lot more can be affected in their travels. It’s a chance we have to take. Looking at the monitor patiently waiting for them to get closer to Elsey; the little girl drops her doll that she was holding, but our target never stops. He let go of her hand and Elsey grabbed his while pushing the little girl closer to her mother.

“What is she doing?” I said out loud but not looking for a response.

“She’s saving the child, Sir.” Reonna stated

The phone rings,

“What are you doing?”

“Sir, we will get the girl and the mother. They will both be of use to us.” Cal stated shakenly

“You better not blow this.” I hung up the phone and immediately started thinking of a plan B.

Part 1

Part 1 –No Intro

Things has changed so drastically in two weeks, and it's like I can't go anywhere without protection. Shit, ever since my wife can't handle her own, I had to call in for backup in order for me to feel completely comfortable with moving about. The streets, and people in it, aren't what they use to be. I can't tell the difference between an enemy or a friendly; hell, even your day ones are suspect nowadays. While my wife was resting trying to recover from her inquires, the four of us went forward with our plan. Steffanie packed us breakfast before we left but she stayed behind to tend to Rhonda's needs. Reonna normally never leaves Steffanie's side, but ventured out with us today to make it easier to communicate with those of us in the field.

Anyway, today we made it as far as the Brooklyn Bridge, but we know that once we're in their cross hairs there's no turning back; and we would have no choice but to fight to the death. The government is nothing to mess with on a normal day but since we've been blacklisted, it's either us or them. The best way to get over the Brooklyn Bridge without being seen, is to go under. Out hideout is on the other side  right below the bridge, this way we don’t have to worry too much about eyes in the air above our heads. We each connected ourselves to a line, then connect the line to the rails under the bridge so we can move freely but will live if we miss a step. Either way, our goal is to make it to Brooklyn without being seen, a small task for operatives like us.

We made it to our first destination before splitting up into two groups. There's no other way to end this madness that has plagued our Country with division and pent-up frustration. This isn't a quick one person assassination, because in order to end this for good, we have to take out the head, body, and tail. It's a process and I'm ready to get this started and ended so I can focus on what's true and real to me, my family.

The Alpha of the group I called in is one of the most vicious, methodical, assassins ever. She came in like the mother of everyone; making sure everyone eats, she gets us straight before we step out the front door and end up blowing our undercover, cover. Every single one of us are currently blacklisted with hefty bounties on our heads. The thing is, I know Steffanie more on a personal level. See, there's not many people including those in her group that know what I know. They never had and will never have clearance like her or I, but I'm sure her little computer genius already too a sneak peek. Steffanie accepts between 300 to 400 contracts a year, and has never failed a mission. She's Russian and the only female ever to be labeled as a Princess of Thieves; a cross tattoo that's detailed like the Sistine Chapel across her chest, right between her perky Russian breast. She also has small star tattoos on her knees, which means she doesn't bow down to any authority; she'll kill you, your family, and the family pet before she kneels to anyone. Hell, I think she would take herself out if she had no other options.

Reonna set up her computers as I unwrap our breakfast. I placed her breakfast in front of her and scarfed mine down so I can secure our hideout. While she was doing some kind of configuring I started to set up the cameras around the building, inside and out to make sure we can see if anyone is coming our way. A few cameras on the outside that covers the three access points, two on the roof, and anywhere between ten to twenty inside along with motion detectors. I have to keep Reonna safe, she is in my care and getting her back to her family is my mission.

Steffanie already gave her group the itinerary that we came up with last night, sending two to the airport to cut one of our targets off at the path. Elsey, our hands on assassin that uses products like lotions and lip balm infused with different chemicals that'll cause a slow agonizing death, with no trace or cure. Cal, our martial arts expert went along to protect her in case she gets made. He knows to keep distance between them and never to face any cameras to avoid detection. Reonna handles all technical aspects of our mission and keeps our "personal" files out of reach and our cover-up to date no matter what system they use to search, our covers will never be blown with this young brilliant beauty on our team. All in all yall, I wouldn't want to be on their bad side. Thank goodness we have the same dislike for the same person that's tearing our beautiful Country in two.
