Part 22

Part 22

Meeting up in the shower, King jumps about three feet because what he didn't know was I turned only the cold water on. Reaching for the knob to turn on the hot water, I grab his hand as we stand there shivering.

"Now just isn't the time and this isn't how I want my first time to be. After you came down off of a high you weren't expecting to have."

"Okay I got it. Can we have some hot water now?"

When I turned my back to him to do as he requested, he pushes up on me sliding himself between the crack of my rear-end. It felt great but I planned to stick to my guns, I don't want to feel rushed and right now that what I'm feeling. Yes, we're in a hotel where they shouldn't be able to get to us but the keyword is shouldn't. This is their town and I don't know how far their reach really is, so making the mistake of getting complacent won't happen, not on my watch. Although I did stay in the position for a little, because of the feeling of him wanting me the way I wanted him the other night, I just couldn't bring myself to let my guard down just yet.

Arching my back to stand, he places his hand in the center of my back pushing me back into place. Telling me that he wants me, that he's ready. Twisting so I could remove his hand from where it was so I could face him, looking slightly up to meet his eyes; I tell him how much I want him too but this wasn't the time nor place, and how I needed to feel safe but I just don't at the moment. He seemed to be frustrated but also understanding. Wrapping my arms around his neck, kissing him slowly, while rubbing his ears. King turned away, telling me how that's not helping him, glancing down to show me proof. All I could do is smile, one more kiss then I spent the duration of my time washing him, then myself.

By the time we got out of the shower, I have to admit, I was ready to be all over him. That same tingle I felt the other night, came back with a vengeance. Not knowing what to do about it, I started to dry myself off forcing myself to think about anything other than him and I.

"Are we going to leave tonight?" King said, pulling up his boxer briefs.

"We have the room for three nights but I didn't put it under our real or street names. We can leave whenever, we'll only get back the $1,000.00 we put down for damages but the room cost will be forfeited."

"I don't want to lose any money so we need to take full advantage of what we already purchased."

"That's fine. Today is one day, tomorrow is the second, and we can leave at maybe, 4am."

"There won't be enough people out for us to hide behind. We may want to check out at the normal time."

"King, I really don't believe they think we're still here. I'm sure he saw us when we exited the bus terminal, but he may think we won't leave the area because of how much money we made. They're bright when it comes to the street but I don't think they can outsmart me."

"If you're sure, let's get everything in order now so we don't have to wait around to see how smart they are. I need to get you to feel safe damnit." King laughed and adjusted himself.

After getting dressed, I head down to the business center to use one of their computers so I can order our one way tickets to New Orleans. I wanted to make sure we had a room for privacy while we were on the train. This way no one will see us until it was time for us to get off the train. I figured, if we got things to eat and took them on the train with us we wouldn't have to leave the room during our travels. I printed out our ticket confirm and checked out a few more things before exiting the business center.

I was hungry and knew King must’ve been starving. I went to the hotel restaurant to order us something to eat when I saw Abuelo sitting at the bar drinking. I requested for them to deliver the food to our room, keeping my head low I made it to the elevator, got to our floor, and took a mad dash to our room.

"Abuelo's here, he's at the bar drinking."

"We're good then. Abuelo was an alcoholic when we first moved into the building about two years ago. He got himself straight but he must back on the wagon. He's in trouble, we have to help him."

"King, we're not helping him. He put us in this situation, he could've just left us in the apartment where we met and allowed us to keep working until immigration came, if they were even coming to begin with."

"He helped us Queen. Either way he helped us. We have to do what's right and help him."

"What if he's setting us up? Then what?"

"Then we'll figure something out. He could've just let child services take us but he didn't." King yelled angrily.

"Fine, but I'll tell you this, if something bad happens I'll never forgive you."
