Part 30

Part 30

The gunman was a smart young man. He dropped the gun and backed away pleading for me to let his brother go.

"Funny, you were a thug five minutes ago, now you're crying like a bitch. It's taking everything in me not to snap his fucking neck. Go over there, face the wall, and get on your knees." I said enforcing my authority.

He does what he's told, then I pushed his brother to the wall and told him to do the same. I kept my eyes on them while putting on another new pair of latex gloves. I may have used five pairs so far, more than I've  ever used in a single night. I picked up the gun, pointed it at the back of their heads, and told them to empty their pockets. I went up to each of them, holding open my shopping bag like a kid on Halloween, awaiting to be showered with all the sugary goodness they had to offer.

Both guys are trying empty their pockets as fast as they could. I told them to put their cell phones in the bag, but they can get them from the dumpster in the next alley way. Piecing out the gun, I toss each section in different directions, while telling them to count slowly to fifty, and that if I ever see them again I'll slit their throats. Both babbling, I walk out the alley but once I turned the corner I started jogging. I didn't want them to hear me take off and come after me so I kept as quiet as I could.  I dumped their phones, fully attached, and kept pushing towards the hotel.

Reaching the hotel, I wasn't out of breath, but extremely sweaty. I walked pass the concierge and was called by first and last name.

"Mr. Ryan Matters?"

"Yes, yes ma'am."

"You have a package that was dropped off for you." The young lady reaching over the desk attempting to give me an envelope.

"Honey, do you know who dropped this off? I mean, did you see their face?"

"No Mr. Matters, I apologize! I wasn't here when it was dropped off. I can always put a flashing note on your account, so when you call or come down there should be an answer for you. Hopefully by four o'clock this evening at or around shift change."

"Okay, thank you."

I didn't open up the envelope right away. I made my way to the room, showered, and grabbed a bite to eat. Once settled, I opened the envelope and there were at least fifteen little notes telling me to watch myself, be careful with the company I keep, Matt isn't to be trusted, and the trip back home will show me everything I needed to see. Sitting on the edge of the bed perplexed, I stuffed the notes in my  duffle bag that I keep my clothes; I laid back, and watched TV until I fell asleep.

Awaken the next afternoon by Matt pacing the floor. I sat up in bed just watching him at first. Then I asked what was going on. He started by fumbling over his words, "we go, we need to go."

"What's going on? I'm not going anywhere until you tell me what's up."

"Alright, but we need to start packing and get on the road. I'll tell you everything on the way."

"Bro, you've been gone for like a month. I'm not packing shit or going anywhere without knowing what happened."

"I was smoking weed with some friends and we had a few drinks. I may have killed one of them, because when I woke up I was covered in blood."

"What the fuck Matt. Running isn't going to fix this, where's the body?"

"That's the problem, I don't know."

"Well,  we're not going back home until we clean this mess up. Contact your friends so we can meet up, we may be able find out for sure what's going on if anything."

"Yeah, good point."

I knew that I couldn't trust him, so I prepared myself for whatever may come. Matt smiles then walks out the room. I put a pocket knife between my belt and waistband. Got dressed, putting on loose jeans, my running socks and tennis shoes, and called down to the front desk to let them know that I will not be checking out. I made them aware that the only person that can check me out is me. I gave the young lady a password to add to my account and some disclosure information.

This is where it all starts to unfold........

SN: I will be off site for a few weeks so I can run edits and wait for approval for a release dates. During this time I will attempt to start a new story to keep everyone occupied until I can come back to posting three or more parts a day. Each one of the parts are generally lengthy so we shall see.

****Part 29

Part 29

I was ready to walk away since I removed all of my DNA from her body, but something came over me. The feel of guilt. As fast as it came, the feeling left. I got on the elevator to head back to the hotel and suddenly halfway down, the elevator stops. I heard the first gate open, but it got stuck. Looking around to see if there's an emergency exit out because my face isn't covered, and I don't have anything without blood on it to cover my face with. Hearing more than one voice, I look up, and there's a hatch that's normally used by elevator mechanics. I jump to push the hatch to see if there was a lock on it, but it swings open making a loud noise. Whomever is on the other side of the elevator doors pauses, giving me enough time to lift myself up and through the hatch. Closing the hatch softly as the gate then door opens. There's a lot of chatter as the elevator descends to the ground level. Once they exited the elevator, I jumped down, and went back up to the floor they got on. When I opened the door and gate there it was, a line of doors with numbers. This isn't an abandon warehouse, it's an apartment building. I went back upstairs to check this woman's purse. I put on a fresh pair of latex gloved so I could locate her wallet. I found both her wallet and keyring, the keyring had only two keys occupying it. One key was for a house or apartment and the other for a car. Looking at her identification I see that she knew about this building because she lived here, on the third floor.

I rechecked the elevator, then the top and bottom floors of the building for cameras. Once again, I was in the clear. Exiting the building, I keep my head down, but walked at an even pace. I made a few stops only when I got closer to the hotel. There's things I needed to get but I didn't want to get them when I was too close to the warehouse. Although most places out here doesn't seem to have surveillance, the majority of stores do, so I didn't want to take a chance. I went down the list in my head and I believe I got everything I wanted and needed. As soon as I walked out of the of the mini market two guys approach me demanding money. The kicker is, they didn't seem to have a weapon. Not a gun, knife, shit they didn't look like they had a slingshot. I chuckled as I shook my head and proceeded to walk back to the hotel. I heard two clicks then felt a cold metal cylinder against the back of my head. I guess I was wrong about the gun.

My dilemma, there's cameras all over this place, inside and out. The last thing I need is to be questioned by police, knowing underneath my clothes is dried blood that'll began to smell at some point. I quickly weighed my pros and cons, dug in my pocket, and gave them everything I had; which was about $137.00 and some change. Unfortunately, they wanted more than what I had to offer and forced me to walk with them at gun point. After a few blocks of uncomfortable walking, the one with the gun pushed me into the alley, telling me to take off everything.

"Listen, you don't want to do this. Please, take my word for it." I said, wishing they would understand the error of their ways.

"Take your word for it? Your word ain't putting food on my table." The one without the gun stated pushing me against the wall.

"There's no need for the two of you to lose your lives over a tad over $100.00, it's just not worth it."

The gun-less man steps to me, pressing his chest against mine. I whispered to him that he didn't want none. He reaches for my throat, I swatted his arm away with one hand, and pushing him in the same direction with the other. Doing so forces him to pivot and do a 180 degree turn, so now his back is facing me. Putting him in a choke hold, lifting him slightly off the ground; but not to the point I choke him out. I pushed my knee against the back of his leg to make his was off balance anytime he tries to move. The young guy with gun started to panic. I yelled out for him to calm down and put the gun down before he shoots his friend. I told him I don't want to kill them but will if that gun goes off, I'm not going to have a choice.

Part 28

Part 28

I cut off her clothes, put a painters bucket underneath her in case she ended up relieving herself in the process. I just didn't want to get any me since there's no place to wash and rid the smell. Using her panties and duct tape to muffle her screams in case she wakes up before I'm completely ready. I got undressed, put together a little torture device, and waited for her to wake up. I took one of the two by fours that was sitting on the ground and started hammering nails through it. The nails are exposed by maybe ten centimeters, which will cause pain, but wouldn't kill her. I sat that aside and picked up a few glass bottles that was spread around like thrown debris. I used the same two by four to crush the bottles collected, then put all the broken glass in a doubled plastic bag.

When she regained consciousness, there were no moans, no cries, she didn't even try to escape. She gave up before she tried to fight but that's a personal issue, I have my own problems, and my current problem is finishing before the sun come up. I covered my face before I walked out of the shadows, I didn't want to be the last image she sees before she dies. First up to bat is the two by four with nails; I needed to hear her scream and moan. Coming out of the shadows, her eyes widen, and her caramel complexion started to pale slightly. I walked around her twice before I went any further, I wanted to invoke fear without saying a word.

My actions came out of nowhere, to the point I surprised myself. I started beating on one of her feet and didn't give in. It was like cutting down a tree with an ax, I kept going and going. The anger and hate that ran through me had now taken over. I can't control myself, before I would always say something, have a plan but now, I want everyone to feel my wrath, share in my pain; but only they will die for my sorrows.

From one foot to the other; swing, swing, swing; connecting each time and I didn't stop until her feet sound like ground up hamburger when it hits the table. I rushed over to grab the plastic bag that contained the broken glass. Since I was in the groove I didn't want to lose this momentum, the feeling was something I never felt, and it felt awesome.

Letting out all of my frustrations, I start to beat her shines with the bags that has the broken glass inside. With every strick, she let out a loud moan, and more blood started to drip from her legs and feet. I decided to give myself a break, giving her enough time to feel each and every cut. Not too long after, I noticed she lost consciousness. To wake her, I grabbed two hand fulls of salt, and rubbed her feet and legs with it. She jolted up dazed and confused, then started having a seizure. I was so pissed off, I just slit her throat. I went into my bag to get a fresh pair of nail clippers so I could clip all of her nails since I'm not sure which ones has my skin and blood under them. Then dipped both hands in acid to make sure there were no traces of my DNA.

Part 27

Part 27

Soaking a cloth with chloroform, I came from behind, and covered her nose and mouth. She grabbed my arms scratching me, now the game has changed. A simple murder just turned into something more advanced. I felt her body start to slump over and I knew she was out. I needed more tools, but everything I want is in the hotel room. I injected her with a sedative, to give me time to run back to the hotel and get everything. Everything I had with me could fit in my pockets without an awkward bulge; a rag, chloroform, sedative, and the syringe. No rope, no plastic bag, pliers, nothing. I set my watch so I would know how much time I had before she would start to come too. I knew between the chloroform and sedative I had at the least two hours which is more than enough time since the hotel was a thirty minute walk from the bar. We were at least ten minutes away from the bar which set me a little more than forty minutes away. It can be done, if I jog to the hotel and walk back I'll have time to tie her up and lay everything out so it's easily assessable.

Everything worked out perfect, I got to the hotel in twenty minutes, it took me fifteen minutes to pack the items I wanted to use into my backpack, change my clothes, quickly shaved, and forty-nine minutes to get back to the warehouse. I stood near the window that was covered in tarp, trying to figure out how I wanted to deal with her. Looking at my watch, I rushed over to tie her down. I used the steel colums since they were already there, everyone of them had holes throughout each piece of steel. They were cemented into the concrete standing vertically and connected to horizontal steel colums that goes across the length of the building.

I wanted her waist level, so I took four pieces of rope, knotted in the eighth hole on each colum; leaving enough that'll reach the end of each of her limbs. I tied her wrist first, making sure they were tight and secure, and her hands were facing palms up. I used a pulley system to hoist her body,  connecting both of her ankles to a temporary rope, but connected to different colums. Once her body was leveled, I started with the left leg using the rope that was tied to the colum and replaced the one I used as a pulley. Then did the same to get right leg and removing  the rope I used as a pulley. I took a few steps back to make sure she was leveled, because I didn't want my tools hitting the ground. The last thing I need was to lose a tool that I used on someone else, I don't want them linking my murders together.

She's about three, maybe three and a half feet in the air, spread eagle, bound at her wrists and ankles. I used to be really careful not to leave any marks or signs on their bodies; because I didn't want to give the authorities any clues so they could put together a story. I pride myself on how meticulous I am but because the plans have changed, I'll leave them little clues. Let's see how smart they are.

Part 26

Part 26

In and out of sleep because of the meds, but everytime I woke up I did my exercises and walked back and forth in our room. Not once did I think to look at the clock, I wasn't to worried about Matt. There's times he'll dissappear for days, sometimes weeks. I ordered room service, refilled my ice bucket, and continued to put cold compresses on my eyes. At this point I was only icing one eye at a time because I was able to see more and more everytime I woke up. Plus, there was a good movie on lifetime I had to watch. I laid off of the pain killers but made sure I took my antibiotics down to the minute.

The next morning, Matt still hasn't showed his face, but my eyes are almost fully opened which means, a shower can happen without assistance. I've never been so excited in my life, I ripped off my clothes, and hobbled to the bathroom. Looking in the mirror at myself, I became depressed, and horrified. My eyes are black and blue, the gash went from about three inches past my hairline, down the center of my forehead, and vertically through my right eyebrow. I know the bruising will go away, it just saddens me that this even happened. As many times as I  saved his ass, saved his life, this mother fucker walked away from me; allowing me to possibly die like my old man. Anger took over and I was ready to rip his heart out, I guess I should be grateful that he didn't show up. I got myself together to get in the shower, so I could wash away any dry blood that still marked my body. Matt's time is going to come, I just need to figure out when and how. I want time with him, time to show him that you don't bite the hand that saves or feeds you.

Weeks has passed, still no Matt but I'm not surprised. I've been hitting the gym twice a day, my face looks almost like before but the scare is still visible. It doesn't help that the hair on my eyebrow is now permanently parted. I'm walking like normal, I'm stronger,  and ready to get back to me. I've been cooped up this is hotel for a little over a month and I wanted to get out, mingle, and snatch a Charlotte, North Carolina native. Being back in South Park feels a little like home to me since we spent so much time out here before; but this time, I'm leaving my mark, and I want everyone to notice.

Later that night, I got dressed, and headed to the local bar. A few drinks in and I'm approached by a semi cute female. She's not drop dead gorgeous so she'll be the one I'll practice on. Light conversation, major flirting, and some adult touching. I asked if she came alone, she gave me a nod that she did, and I asked if she wanted to skip the loud music and overrated crowd. She guided me to the front door and started kissing me. Looking around, another place with no cameras, which is a plus for me but detrimental to her life.

We walked to a secluded warehouse and went to the top floor. "Is anyone else here?"

"No, this is a place I come too to get away from the madness of the World. No one comes up here because it's been flagged by the State twice."

She stepped up closer to me and started unbuttoning my shirt. I told her that I prefer to take the lead and guided her to face the wall; told her keep her eyes closed or I wasn't going to bless her with the "D". She giggled a little but did as instructed.

Part 25

Part 25

Matt picked up a few things so I could clean myself up, a few outfits, a pair tennis shoes, and ice packs for my eyes and head. He cleaned out the biggest gash in my head with saline and peroxide, then stitched me up. The rest of the cuts were soaked with peroxide to allow any particles inside for fall out. Before I got dressed he tells me that he needed to flush the stab wound to make sure it doesn't get infected, plus he wants to see if I damaged anything. I had no problem with him doing all that he's done so far, but when he got to flushing my leg; the pain was so excruciating that I passed out once again.

By the time I woke up, we were no longer driving, I could hear Matt's heavy breathing, so it's safe to assume he was taking a nap. I was able to see slightly out of the slits in my eyes. The parking lot gave me the notion it was a hotel because of the structure, it's simular to a few hotels we stayed at in the past. I wasn't sure what State we were in or what hotel. I reached for Matt to wake him, but an IV line tugged at my arm. I read the bag the IV was attached too, and inside was an antibiotic. I pulled my jeans down a tad to look at my leg and it was wrapped by a professional. I have the feeling back in my leg, I can see out the small opening in my eyes, still no ringing in my ears, so I'm winning at this point.

"So, are we sleeping in the car or are we getting a room? Also, who stitched my leg?"

Matt lifts his head, "I didn't want to leave you out here alone. Your face would scare people. I stopped past a friend's house, he was able to fix what you damaged and there's instructions on the exercises you need to do three times a week." Matt said as he exited the SUV.

Not too long after he got out the SUV, Matt came back to retrieve me and our things. He gave me a hooded sweatshirt and told me to cover my face because he was certain that someone would ask questions. Holding onto the SUV with one hand, I maneuver my body to wiggle the hoodie onto my upper body, leaving out the arm I needed to keep my balance. Pressing my butt against the SUV, I forced my arm through the sleeve, and struggled to get the shirt around my torso; since I'm still in excruciating pain whenever I adjust my weight to that side. I can hear Matt walking towards me but could also see that he was holding something long, thin, and shiny; but couldn't make out what it was.

"Bro, I would be honored to carry you inside over my shoulder again but, I don't want to draw too much attention our way; plus,  there's too many bags to carry.

"Thank you, but I'd rather not be your cave bitch ever again."

Matt let out a hardy laugh for a few long seconds then told me the cane will be temporary, but for now I must use it to make sure I don't damage my leg or rip my stitches. While was talking, he kept moving, using his voice to guide me in the right direction to the hotel entrance. Standing in the foyer of the hotel, Matt stood behind me nudging me with the bags in the center of my back. Whenever he wanted me to turn a particular way, he would nudge me on the opposite side of the direction he wanted me to go.

Once up to the room, Matt gets me settled and tells me that he's going to head out to get us food. Before he left he made sure I had ice, antibiotics, and pain killers. Icing my face, I lay back so I could stretch my wounded leg. Doing some exercises in the attempt to regain the my strength. I knew that one day Matt would show his true colors. Every note that was left to me for the most part told me about Matt, but I didn't listen. Now, look at me.

Part 24

Part 24

"Yeah, I never learned the area. Plus, you always drive; so how was I supposed to learn? So, which way do I go?"

"Great, ask the guy that can’t see. I’m coming up front.” Trying to balance myself, there was a loud explosion that scared Matt enough that he jerked the SUV. I fell ass first onto the dashboard and slid right down. The back of my head was resting on the bottom of the dashboard where the glovebox is, my legs and feet were straight up on the passenger seat, where my body was supposed to be. “Matt, tell me you didn’t blow up the house.”

“I did, I had no choice, there’s no way we would be able to come back with the dead bodies and blood everywhere. At least this way we can say we weren’t home and collect the insurance money, but this time I want the money. You have enough of it from your old man.”

"That's fine, but the next house we get you buy. We can't keep blowing up and setting fires to our houses. We'll talk about this later, I'm getting light-headed again."

I laid my head back as far as I and asked Matt that if we weren't being followed to pull over real quick so he can help me sit in the chair. After a few minutes of him laughing his head off he pulls over, opens my door, and pulls me out of the SUV; still laughing of course. He sits me in the seat, buckles me in and yells out "Mike and Ike" before he opened the door and went right back to laughing. I'm starting to really dislike this asshole.

I asked him to tell me what street were we on and what's the next landmark so I can direct him in my blind state on where to go to get to the highway.

"We're on Baltimore Pike and the next big landmark we'll be coming up on, is the Hospital. We're heading towards Dodge City."

"Great, keep heading up that way and turn right on Island Avenue. You'll have the option to get on interstate 95 north or south. So, where are we heading?"

"Well, we need to get more medical supplies first  then off to a motel. Preferably out of this State so we don't get caught up in all of those murders."

"All for what murders, there's three bodies in there."

"There's more than three bro. I went in the back door since it was closer to the basement. I put the case of dynamite in the panic room and left the door open, I put a few sticks under and around fat boy, and another twenty at the front door. I poured gasoline everywhere and put the left overs at the front door with the sticks. By the time I looked up again, Tony's backups were getting out of their cars. I ran to the back door, grabbed all of the things I packed, and threw in a pack of lit matches in the kitchen. I jumped the fence, ran across the neighbors lawn, and down their driveway to the car."

"So that explains the big boom."

"Yeah man, you should've seen it."

"Yeah, whatever. Back to my question; where are we heading?"

"Back to where this all started; Shubuta, Mississippi."
