Part 17

I apologize for the delay, here's
Part 17

"Hey buddy, can you leave your door unlocked? I have to go to the truck to get another size key."

"Yeah whatever man."

I walked out to inform Matt that there were three inside, and that we can kill the one guy right here but take the others. The thought is, that only two of the three live here and let's be honest, we've been running from the law for years now and the only one that got close to us was Detective Wells, and we all know how that ended. Matt made sure his silencer was attached correctly. I walked in first and no one looked up. Matt close by, shots the one he doesn't know before I was able to tell them if they scream they all die. Two loud yelps then I pulled my gun and pointed at the bigger man of the two. Matt pulls out the cloth and chloroform while explaining that they have a choice, they can be put to sleep, or they can die like their friend. Matt walks over to he smaller man after soaking the cloth and holstering his gun. Puts the cloth over the man's face without any fight. The bigger one decided he's going to fight for his life and grabbed Matt. Hands down, this had to have been the worst tussle in human history. There's a bunch of slapping but nothing that'll immobilize either of them. Then Matt grunts, every muscle in his body tightened, and Matt swings wildly but connecting with the tip of his jaw. The guy was out cold but Matt didn't stop there. He started kicking him in his face, damn near stomping the soul out of that man. I pulled him off because I didn't want him to leave any prints and sure as hell didn't want him to track blood through their apartment.

Telling Matt to carry the smaller one down to the SUV while I made sure the biggest one was going to be out at least until we got the woman to her apartment and us home. The guy I carried didn't seem that heavy until I had to pick him up, sliding him onto my shoulder, I carefully go down the stairs trying not to drop him. It's a guarantee that if he falls he'll easily break his neck on the concrete steps below because once he starts falling there's no stopping a man of this size. He's a solid 250 maybe 300 pounds and I weigh 210 on a good day; so there's a little bit of a struggle since I haven't seen a gym in forever it feels like.

Once at the SUV I was completely out of breath and ready to sit so I could pull myself together before carrying the woman up to her apartment. Her apartment, which was unlike the guys, and was on the fifth floor instead. I instructed Matt not to beat on them but to cover their nose and mouth with the chloroform rag once every twenty minutes each to keep them sleep until I get back. Hiking up the stairs, but this time was different. One, the body was that of a female that's a lot lighter. Thankfully it was a lot easier this time around. I opened her door, took off the restraints, laid her gently on her bed, and left the keys on her dresser before exiting her bedroom then apartment. Headed back to the guys apartment to wipe down everything and retrieve Matt's bullet. I ran into the female's neighbor that paid me no mind.
