Part 60

Part 60

I wasn't sure how long I've been out in this hallway. I know I've seen at least 20 couples go into their rooms, handle their business, and leave. Since there were no windows in the corridor and I didn't have a watch, I wasn't sure what time it was. Went back into the room and it was pitch black, lights out, sun down, and quiet compared to the other rooms. I didn't want to wake Dave, so I walked carefully across the floor and into the bathroom, closing and locking the door behind me. I sat there thinking, I love Eric, in love with Eric but how much does he truly love me. I mean, he say it but since he pulled me out of prison he hasn't been able to keep one promise unless it had to do with sex. Two out of the three promises he hasn't kept once, and the other one I'm not sure if it's how he feels or if it's just the idea of having me.

A tad distraught, I made my own decision to go out on my own. If he loves me, truly loves me, he'll find me and show it. For now my goal is to make it back to the States, reach out to the organization to see if I'm still considered active or a rogue threat to the USA. Then I'll figure out my next move from there. One thing that Eric never had a chance to learn about me is that I know my worth. Once again he left me with a man three times my size, that I said I didn't trust, and that same man told him that if he gets the opportunity he'll make me his. I don't know where he learned to play the game but he clearly has it and me messed up.

I grabbed my bag, checked my ammo, made sure I had my passport, and started on my way to the train station. I figure if I can make it to Italy I should be able to catch a flight from there. As soon as I stepped out into the fresh air I thought about my features and how if they saw me, whomever is after us would recognize me with no problem. I went to the nearest shop, purchased a burqa as if I were a married Muslim. I got rid of the army style back pack and purchased an all black messenger bag to carry all of my items. Leaving the store I felt a lot better and a bit more safe walking through the streets.

I took a few taxis to throw anyone off that may have been following me and would make them visible to me. Went into the train station, purchased my ticket and waited. Once the train was ready to depart, I looked around without bring obvious and boarded the train for my trip to Italy. So far, so good, not one problem. I haven't seen or heard one Russian but we all know how that can go. Apparently, not all Russians speak with an accent, so having my entire body covered is also very helpful.
